Lucy Leishman is here!
Lucy was just named iF3’s Breakthrough Skier of the Year, and she’s the first woman to win it. Her first real season as a pro skier saw her joining filming trips with Matchstick and The North Face. On those missions she found how easy it was to be welcomed by her trip mates, who are also her heroes, on the road and in the mountains.
The Nelson, BC skier talks about growing up shredding at Whitewater, working as a forest firefighter in the summer and going from ski racing to freeride, then eventually shifting to filming. We round things out talking about journaling and her love for sketching, setting performance goals and much more.
